When you hear someone is on Foodstamps, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

To be honest, I used to think that people who used food stamps were poor and cheap. Yep, I was mean. But now, as the economy has gone bad, even my parents are relying on coupons and such to buy stuff. We might even lose our home =[. This gave me a different perspective and now I think differently. Nowadays, people are even bartering (to stay alive basically) and I think that's smart. So now, I think its OK for people to use food stamps. If someone desperately needs them, its perfectly OK and shouldn't be treated as something unusual because you have no reason to judge someone from their cover.
