Shipping iPod to France...TAXed in france?

I'm shipping an iPod nano to Paris, France for my sister along with a bag of cheetos! She said they will open it and impose a tax on it in France. Is this true and how many percent??? What value will be taxed? The ipod is roughly 200 bucks.
