How do I tell him without hurting his feelings?

my bf and I have only had a few times... I was not a virgin when we started this relationship. Anyways, when we have , it hurts. He is not very good at all, and is in fact sometimes painful, and not very exciting... to put it bluntly, he just sucks. We don't need lubrication or anything, that's not it. What I want to know is how do I let him know without hurting his feelings or embarring him?
