How do I keep lint off a cotton blouse?

I have a 100% BLACK cotton blouse that I really like to wear. The problem is, it collects lint and cat hair (I have two cats). I have tried adding fabric softeners to the wash and fabric sheets to the drier. None of that works. I don't want to carry around a lint roller everywhere I go. Is there anything I can spray on this or add to the washer or dryer so that I can wear this blouse?
