Dead percula in fx5?
I'm using 2 FX5 on my 135 Gallons Tank. Fluval FX5 is easy to maintain and cleaning media. The best way to do it to power off your filter. I will ume that your aquarium is far away from the windows or doors on which you can use a tube to get the water out of your filter. Alternative solution is to get a thick garbage plastic and put it on the om valve but not under the filter. Turn off the 2 valves on top and gently turn on the valve at the om. It will release some water to the garbage plastic bag and will stop. No you need to turn on slowly the "out" valve on top and it will release more water. If the plastic bag is getting full then turn off the "out" valve and take the water on the garbage bag to the sink. Keep doing this until you think that there's no more water on the tube of the "Out" valve then do it on the "In" valve. If you think that's there's no more water on both tubes then you can turn off the om valve. (Note: Make sure you still have water inside the filter for you good bacteria to live and who knows maybe your clownfish is still alive inside. I think you will find your clownfish on the side of the baskets on where you put your media so be careful when pulling the baskets. Once you find you Nemo then put it back together and connect everything and make sure the 2 top valves are "On" and then you can plug it in. Goodluck on finding Nemo!
